This is the starting program for all new students.
Using play-based lessons developed with child development specialists, we teach babies and young children how to float, breathe, and stay calm in the water.
Each lesson follows a clear progression designed to match a child’s developmental stage while supporting emotional regulation and safe skill-building.
In 7 weeks, children develop life-saving skills that help reduce risk and give parents greater peace of mind around water.
Program Details:
Age: 6 months – 6 years
Lesson Length: 12 Minutes
Schedule: 4x per week (Mon–Thurs)
Program Length: 7 weeks
What Your Child Will Learn:
For babies (6m to 15m), we focus on calm back floating and breath control — so if they ever fall into the water, their body knows what to do before fear takes over.
For toddlers and preschoolers, we teach a simple swim-float-swim sequence that helps them reach safety on their own, while building confidence and early problem-solving skills.

Otter Squad™ is designed for children who have completed survival or refresher training and are ready to grow from swim-float-swim into confident, fully developed swimmers.
These short, skill-focused lessons build endurance, coordination, and stroke development, while continually reinforcing calm, confident movement and survival instincts in the water.
As kids grow, their bodies change — and so do their swimming needs. Otter Squad™ keeps them progressing safely, confidently, and at their own pace.
